Habibi Ceylon is not liable for any content submitted by other users that may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or objectionable.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any material or to suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Platform for any reason, with or without notice.

2. Eligibility

Membership and access to Habibi Ceylon are restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering or using the Platform, you affirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful and that you meet the minimum age requirement.

Your profile may be deleted without prior notice if we find that you have misrepresented your age or violated any applicable laws or platform rules. Membership is strictly for personal use; you may not share your account or credentials with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Membership Term and Fees

This Agreement remains in effect while you use the Platform or maintain an account. You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings. Habibi Ceylon may also terminate your account at its discretion, especially if you breach any part of this Agreement.

Fees associated with membership or advertising may change from time to time. If your account is terminated due to a violation, you will not be entitled to a refund. Certain sections of this Agreement will remain valid even after account termination, including those concerning liability, content rights, and dispute resolution.

4. Personal and Non-Commercial Use

Habibi Ceylon is designed for personal use only, except where explicitly permitted for business listings in our directory. Commercial use, such as unauthorized advertising, unsolicited messaging, or content scraping, is prohibited and may result in account termination.

Any attempt to use the Platform for unauthorized commercial activity, including affiliate marketing, spam emails, or misleading listings, will be investigated. Habibi Ceylon reserves the right to pursue legal action for violations.

5. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

All content, branding, design elements, and underlying code on Habibi Ceylon are the exclusive property of Habibi Ceylon and its licensors, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, display, or sell any proprietary materials from the Platform without prior written permission, except content that is already in the public domain or for which you have obtained lawful usage rights.

By posting content on Habibi Ceylon, including listings, messages, images, and other materials (“User Content”), you grant Habibi Ceylon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publicly display this content on the Platform for the duration it remains published. This license will automatically end once your content is deleted or removed.

You confirm that:

You own or have legal rights to share the content you post;
Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights;
You accept full liability for any royalties, fees, or legal claims related to the content you share.

Habibi Ceylon may remove or restrict access to any content deemed to violate these Terms, applicable laws, or the safety and integrity of the community.

6. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following types of content and behavior are strictly prohibited on Habibi Ceylon:

Images containing full frontal nudity, genitalia, or sexually explicit material;
Content that promotes violence, hate speech, racism, or discrimination;
Harassment or abuse of any user;
Spamming, including unsolicited mass messaging or advertising;
False or misleading information, scams, or fraudulent content;
Unauthorized reproduction or promotion of pirated materials or copyrighted works;
Content involving individuals under 18 years of age;
Posts that include personal contact details such as phone numbers, email addresses, or external links without prior approval;
Instructions or discussions encouraging illegal activity;
Impersonation of other individuals or creating fake accounts;
Soliciting commercial services or products without permission;
Fake reviews, deceptive claims, or attempts to manipulate ratings or visibility.

Any such activities may result in immediate account suspension, removal of content, or further legal action.

7. Advertising and Commercial Listings

Habibi Ceylon may permit certain forms of commercial listings in designated areas of the platform (e.g., directory listings). However, misleading titles, fake content, keyword stuffing, or unauthorized promotions are not allowed.

We do not guarantee visibility, effectiveness, or specific results from any advertisement. Advertisers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings. Habibi Ceylon’s maximum liability in case of ad-related issues will not exceed the amount paid for the advertisement in question.

8. Copyright and Infringement Policy

Do not post or distribute copyrighted content without proper authorization. If you believe that your work has been used on the Platform in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may notify us. 10. Refund Policy

All payments for advertising, listing services and membership services are considered final and non-refundable, even if a listing or a membership is paused, removed, or terminated before its scheduled end.

11. User Disputes

The actions or behavior of any user, whether on or off the Platform;
Any damage resulting from downloads or interactions on the site.

Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Sri Lankan law, Habibi Ceylon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income, data, or reputation, resulting from your use of the Platform.

If you are dissatisfied with the Service, your sole remedy is to discontinue use. In any case, Habibi Ceylon’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services within the preceding 12 months.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Habibi Ceylon, its owners, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or liabilities—including legal fees—arising out of:

Your use of the Platform;
Your breach of these Terms;
Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any legal disputes must be resolved within the jurisdiction of the Sri Lankan courts.

17. Compliance Notice (Content Policy)

Habibi Ceylon does not permit sexually explicit content, nudity, or materials in violation of Sri Lankan law. All user-generated content is moderated and must comply with our content policies.

Users violating these terms will have their content removed immediately and may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
